A pleasant tour that borders the El Carrascón tributary and connects the area of la Magdalena with the De Gallineras Marina.

The path is laid out on the retaining walls of the salt marshes with loose surface materials.

This trail is a true ornithological route since you can watch numerous birds like the bar-tailed godwit, the grey plover, the avocet or the flamingo, among others. Don’t forget your binoculars!

A tour in which we invite you to get to know five old unused salt marshes (from north to south, they are “El Molino”, “Los Santos”, “San Cayetano”, “Los Ángeles de San Cayetano” and “Belén y San Salvador”). Although none of the structures are active, at the Los Ángeles Salt Marsh in San Cayetano you can see the natural breeding of fish and crustaceans.

There are resting and exercise areas along the trail.

Starting point

There are five approaches along the Ronda del Estero, although the main entrance is opposite the Zaporito Tide Mill.
